For four days in the fall, it’s a fairground, but for the other 361 days of the year, the Caledonia Fairgrounds is home to a variety of exciting and entertaining events and private functions too. The Society strives to provide a sustainable open green-space for the community to gather and appreciate the natural beauty of the Canadian Heritage Designated Grand River.
CALEDONIA AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY
The Caledonia Agricultural Society is a registered Canadian Charity which came into being in 1873 under the Agricultural and Horticultural Societies Act. The Society aims to promote and provide agricultural education through a variety of programs and showcases throughout the year. The Society is a cultural institution focusing on promotion of the arts in a variety of formats including visual art, theatre, and digital mediums. Additionally, the Society works to promote environmental awareness and conservation.
