We've partnered with Shaw's Dairy- a family run Dairy producing delicious high-quality ice cream
using 100% fresh Canadian cream and premium quality mix-ins for over 70 years!
We scoop 25 flavours of ice cream each day, including dairy-free options.
Our daily flavour list will be posted at the restaurant.
Enjoy your ice cream in a standard Joy Cone, a premium Donsig Waffle Cone (+$1.50),
a chocolate-dipped Donsig Waffle Cone (+$2.50),
or a compostable paper cup or vintage glassware.

Old Fashioned Milkshake: Choice of chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, banana, cherry, butter-rum, or peanut butter syrup from our fountain blended with Shaw's vanilla ice cream and 2% milk until thick and smooth.

Granny's Apple Pie Milkshake: Premium Shaw's Vanilla ice cream and buttery baked apple flavour blended with 2% milk until thick and smooth.

Classic Malt: Choice of chocolate, vanilla, or butter-rum syrup from our fountain blended with Shaw's vanilla ice cream and malted milk until thick and smooth. A favourite at the soda fountain popularized in the 1920s with a distinctive buttery, caramel flavour.

Our convenient outdoor service window can be found on the East side of the Riverside Exhibition Centre, facing the Fairgrounds. We also offer eat-in service at our new lunch counter and tables in the lobby of the Riverside Exhibition Centre.
Choose between sitting outside along the beautiful Grand River, or at comfortable tables inside in our air-conditioned lobby.
We offer free WiFi and clean, modern fully accessible washroom facilities.
More Information
Who is running this business? Caledonia Agricultural Society staff and volunteers will be managing this business. The Caledonia Agricultural Society is a registered charity under the CRA. The society has owned and operated the Caledonia Fairgrounds since 1878, and has been a dedicated community organization since 1873.
Where does the money go? Profits from this fundraiser will be designated for the Riverside Exhibition Centre campaign. In 2019, the Caledonia Agricultural Society, with the help of many local donors, completed an extensive $7 million renovation of the 'Old Arena' into the Riverside Exhibition Centre.
Why Shaw's Ice Cream? We chose to partner with a family-owned community dairy processor who make ice-cream the old fashioned way, with 100% Canadian cream. Shaw's Ice Cream is velvety smooth, delicious, and available in a variety of exciting flavours.
Who is scooping ice cream? Staff and volunteers employed by the Caledonia Agricultural Society will be working in the Riverside Eatery to scoop ice cream. Tips and gratuities are appreciated and can be made using cash or on the debit/credit card terminal.
Can we place pre-orders? We do not accept phone or online orders at this time.
